Ladies and Gentlemen, your 2012 Big West Baseball Champions: Cal State Fullerton, enters Eugene regional as No. 2 seed.

Cal State Fullerton broke a 0-0 tie in the top of the seventh with a Michael Lorenzen RBI single.  The hit parade didn't finish there though, as the young freshman J.D. Davis crushed a 3 run home run out to left field.  Lorenzen's sacrifice in the eighth led to another run, and he closed out the ninth with a fantastic inning of pitching.  Kenny Mathews gave up four hits and an unearned run as he shut down the Dirtbags.

The seedings were announced this morning and the Titans received a No. 2 seed in the Eugene regional as Saturday's loss took dropped them to No. 19/18 in the NCBWA and Coaches polls.  They will face Indiana State in the first round of the tournament. The Dirtbags' series lost kept them out of the tournament.  Interestingly enough, Cal Poly was recieving votes in the NCBWA after their utter domination of UCR, which would have probably put them in if the Coaches' poll had done the same.
