NCAA Tournament 2012 Bracket: Long Beach State Is 12 Seed, Will Face New Mexico On March 15

The 2012 NCAA Tournament bracket and field has been announced, and the Long Beach State 49ers will receive a 12 seed in the West region. New Mexico's first opponent will be the New Mexico Lobos, and they will play on March 15 at 1:10pm PST in Portland, Oregon. If the 49ers win their first matchup, they will face the winner of No. 4 Louisville/No. 13 Davidson on March 17.

The 49ers earned the 12 seed by winning the Big West regular conference title by going 15-1 in conference play and by winning the conference tournament.  They went 25-8 this season.
