Morning Links 6/27/12

Good News Everyone! I actually have links, and it's positive news.  We're still waiting on a few things to happen with conference expansion, and we're also waiting for the final Track and Field events to pan out so we can see who's going to London, however, while we're waiting, let's look at some other Big West things.

Kristina Santiago's playing for Team USA!
The Cal Poly center got called upon to play in exhibition games with the Olympic Team in China before the Olympics.  Some good playing time before her professional career begins with Dunav Rose.

Difficult schedule, emotional season upcoming for the Tigers
On top of Bob Thomason's final season as head coach for Pacific, the Tigers will have a daunting task of facing future WCC opponents in Gonzaga, USF, and Santa Clara, MWC (brand spanking new) opponent Nevada and Oral Roberts.

Wickstrom's opinion after one year as UCR AD
His plans, what he accomplished thus far, how to fix things etc... About that C-Center, I'll have something later on that.

An OBNUG commenter (not me) realizes BSU should stay in the MWC
Something that I've agreed with since day 1.  On this site you've been seeing me try to bring BSU to the BWC, because I thought it was a done deal that the Broncos were heading East.  Now BSU is rethinking everything, which goes back to my original thought (stated in MWConnection before I started this blog): STAY!

Three days until decision time for Boise State and the Big West, four days until we say ALOHA!
