COAST TO COAST! Boise State officially joins the Big West starting in 2013
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Wait, I'm conflicted...is this good or bad? The official press release can be seen here. I know that there are a lot of Big West fans who aren't particularly excited (Cal State fans...) but the price was worth it. Considering that the entry fee for the Big West in general is $1,000; the conference got their moneys worth from the Broncos. A 2.5 million dollar entrance fee to be paid over 5 years plus a initiation fee of $50,000. The Broncos will also be paying an annual $750,000 subsidy cost for travel purposes.

Nice drawing. You can put Hawaii on the UC side. Or make a hula skirt since we're not in the UC system. LOL. I guess they're still bitter about Coach Peterson never wanting to play in Honolulu again and didn't want them in the MWC. That led to Hawaii in all sports not liking Boise to join the Big West but the money plays and its settled down now where yes we don't have to play Boise in football again and we get some money from them for the other sports. Hopefully this will beef up the BWC with the money from the Big East and with SDSU in as well the conference can be stronger as a whole.
